General Park Rules

Welcome to Silver City RV Resort. We hope your stay with us will be most enjoyable. To ensure your safety and pleasure as well as the safety and pleasure of others, please observe the following:

Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm – 7:00 am. If you with to stay up late, please do so quietly and inside your own RV so you won’t disturb your neighbors. No campfires during quiet hours.

Speed limit is 5mph throughout the park. Anyone caught speeding in the park or allowing visitors to speed in the park may be subject to eviction.

Please do not drive through unoccupied sites. You may walk through unoccupied sites but please don’t walk through occupied sites. Each space is defined for meter box to meter box. Please respect others in the park.

Rent is due on the 1^st of each month. New tenants will be charged for one full month from the date of check-in, the following months charges will be prorated to the 1^st of the month. If rent is not received by closing on the 5^th a $25 late fee will be added and the tenant will be converted to a daily basis. Meters are read the 3^rd week of the month and rent bills will be available by the 25^th. Rates are based on a two-person and two vehicles per site this includes your RV. There is an additional charge for each extra person over the age of 3 and for each pet. If you have an extra vehicle there is an additional charge. Maximum of three (3) vehicles allowed at your site including your RV. Storage is available for any extra vehicles or trailers.

Tenants are responsible for the conduct, behavior and control of their children and visitors. You will be held financially responsible for any malicious damage they may cause.

Visitors may park in the overflow parking lot on the north side of the store. Please do not allow your visitors to park in unoccupied sites or in the roadways.

Children: An adult 18 or older must accompany children under 12 in the playground and children 14 and under in the swimming pool area and fitness room. Please read and obey the posted rules in the playground, pool, fitness room and pond. There is no lifeguard on duty in the pool area.

Pets must be kept quiet at all times. Nevada State law requires that all pets have current rabies shots and that you clean up after your dog. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet at all times and must not be left unattended. No pets are allowed in any of the buildings, playground, pond area or pool area. If your dog becomes a nuisance (such as barking) or appears to be malicious you will be asked to remove the dog from the park. No Pit Bulls or Rottweillers are allowed.

The pond is for catch and release fishing only. No swimming or boating allowed.

Restrooms and laundries are cleaned daily. Please do your part to keep them clean. Please do not enter any restroom while it is being cleaned.

Tenants are responsible for the placement of garbage in the dumpsters located throughout the park. No garbage cans are to be placed outside your RV at your site. Do not use the fire rings as garbage cans. Burn only wood in the fire rings, do not burn garbage. There is a minimal fee for washing your autos and RV’s. Repairs to autos and RV’s are limited. Please check with the office.

Use or sale of illegal drugs is prohibited and will result in the immediate removal from the premises.

No smoking in any of the buildings or the pool area. No food or drinks in the pool area or the fitness room.

Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates/blades, and scooters may be ridden on the roads only, and only as a means of transportation. They are not to be ridden in or through RV spaces (empty or occupied), on the sidewalks, or near of inside any of the buildings. No stunts are to be performed in the park.

Please remember, this is an RV park, not a mobile home park. Keep your site clean and free of clutter. Douglas County does not allow any permanent structures. This includes dog pens, semi-portable structures, screen rooms, refrigerators, and anything else of the like. No cargo/utility trailers or boats are allowed at your RV site. We offer storage at a reduced rate for tenants for these items. Barbeques, bicycles and patio furniture may be kept outside of the RV. All other possessions, including ladders and storage totes must be stored inside or on the RV, or in the tow vehicle. You may also keep a storage cabinet, Rubbermaid type storage bin, measuring approximately 3-1/2 ft high by 4 ft wide. Inquire at the store for more information.

All RV’s must be kept presentable and in good condition. Only one RV per site allowed. Only roof mounted RV air conditioners are allowed. No swamp coolers or other window mounted air conditioners, unless approved by SCRV in advance. No wood or lattice allowed around the RV. Airtight seals on sewer connections are mandatory.

Each site has a mail/message box in the store. The box number is the same as your site number. Even if you do not receive mail her please check periodically for messages, notes and your rent bills. Emergency messages will be delivered to your RV, all other messages will be placed in you box.

You may use Silver City RV Resort’s address as your mailing address along with your site number. However when you plan to move out of the Park you must change your address with each person/service who you receive mail from. We do not forward mail and the Post Office with not forward mail from this address, as it is not considered a “permanent” address.

Disclaimer: Silver City RV assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause due to negligence on the part of the tenant or their visitors. Silver City RV Resort reserves the right to refuse or revoke monthly status to any tenant whose RV does not meet the standards set forth by SCRV, or any tenant who is found to be in non-compliance of any of these rules. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations of SCRV may result in eviction for the park.
